Is True Love For The Brave?

Yesterday I was able to watch that local movie "My Amnesia Girl" with some friends on DVD. I'm not very fond of watching movies, or tv shows. I'd rather read books, magazines, or lately blogs. But for the lazy afternoon yesterday, I randomly joined my friends, to watch the said movie. It was very funny, oh well, I find it funny. Maybe the shallow side of me did. Hehe. There was this line in the movie that caught my attention. "Ang true love para sa matatapang na tao lang". So in the middle of the movie, my mind kinda wandered and I contemplated, is true love really for the brave one? Why is that? Then here is my point of view to that, and the reason for blogging it to share it with you. :-) I'm not a life coach, but let me just vent out on this one. :-)

I had committed many mistakes on 'loving' in the past, and is committing mistakes at present and most likely in the future. But it was on those mistakes that I gained strength and got the better of me. Yes, the heartbreaks were seemingly unbearable that I often found myself saying, I won't let anybody hurt me this way again. But some things are bound to happen.. again. It takes a brave heart to love again despite the heartaches that goes with it. People loved and got hurt and loved again, a cycle that only brave people are willing to go through. To love is to allow yourself to be vulnerable to pain, disappointments and heartaches. But it is also a wonderful chance to bravely let yourself to be loved and taken cared of.

I guess for the brave people out there,  spread the love.... :-)

  1. This is my first comment:

We are told that people stay in love because of chemistry, or because they remain intrigued with each other, because of many kindnesses, because of luck. But part of it has got to be forgiveness and gratefulness. - mm
